All other nonsense aside, how do you scare children to sleep? It’s sounds like a local colloquial, but I could only find 3 occurrences from Google. The last of which denounces Tornadoes as Myth, along with Bigfoot and Female Orgasms.
Is it a saying from another language, or unique to Scientology?

Yea, I though that was weird. I remeber my grampa used to say “I’ll slap you to sleep”, and I thought the same thing - wouldn’t a slap wake you up?
I guess enough slapping would knock you out or could slap you to death so to speak.

I was scratching my head over that one as well. If I were scared as a kid, I would *NOT* sleep. How could the Source himself screw up something that simple? :)
